Departmental Initiatives

  • The Department is presently working to develop a mission strategy for LaGrange, Ky. We believe wholeheartedly that this should be the site of the next mission in our diocese.

  • We are also assisting various congregations with developmental needs, and we are meeting with clergy and laity onsite to assist them deal with conflict resolution or growth potential.

  • We would love to be invited to come to any congregation in the diocese and to be a resource to the clergy and laity.

  • We are also working with the Christian Formation Department in planning the Presiding Bishop's visit in May.

The Rev. Dr. Joe Smith, Chair
